The first of ten Stadler Class 88 Eurodual UK locomotives was introduced at InnoTrans on September 2016.

Therefore, the Schliess- und Sicherungssysteme GmbH deliveres the door for the engine room as well as the locks for the cab access doors of this locomotive, which has a diesel engine of 708 kW.

Stadler is building a further prototype for continental Europe, whose test phase will start in spring 2017.
